Homework November 17 - 21

See your child's communication binder for homework assignments.

 

Read 20-30 minutes every night for a total of 120 minutes a week!!

Monday - Friday Standard Homework Assignments

This is a list of the standard weekly homework assignments.  Look in your child's communication binder for additional daily assignments.  This information is based on a five day school week.  Please note that Math PW(Practice Workbook) pages may differ.  Math always depends on how much we can complete in school.  Check your child's written homework assignment to verify correct page.  If you are uncertain, you can do the next page, use a Free Homework Pass or send a note. 

MONDAY

Read for 20 - 30 minutes. Document minutes read on back of Turner Telegram (Home Reading Log) and books  read on the Reading Log. 

Spelling - Write each word two times in your spelling/vocabulary notebook. 

Math - PW pg 69

Sign and return tests.

Christmas/holiday traditions due on Wednesday.

TUESDAY

Read for 20 - 30 minutes.

Spelling - Write five sentences.  Use at least one spelling and one vocabulary word in each sentence.

Math - PW pg.

Math - Timed test (16 fact family)

Christmas/holiday traditions due tomorrow.

WEDNESDAY

Read for 20 - 30 minutes. 

Reread "Big Bushy Mustache" from your reader

Math - Pw pg 

Spelling - Study for trial test.

There is no writing revision this week.

THURSDAY:

Read 20 - 30 minutes

 Math -pgs. 237 and  248 .  These pages have been torn out of the big Math book for review for chapter 13 test tomorrow.

Spelling - Write the words missed on the trial test 3xs.

Beta club is selling snacks on Friday.

FRIDAY - SUNDAY

Complete reading 120 minutes for the week.  Document on the back of Turner Telegram.  Sign Turner Telegram and return on Monday.

Go out and play. 

The basketball team is selling snacks on Monday.
